Gale, I am still coming to terms with the fact of your passing and under then sudden circumstances too. It's not easy as you were a close and cherished friend, but I will now just need to be more creative and look more deeply to find you beneath this world of forms. May I keep noticing you in between mindful steps, in the flickering candle, and many other moments ahead.

So glad to have known you Gale. So much joy in your smile, so many stories, so much laughter, so many questions, so many discussions; over thirty years was far too short a time. You are on my mind. Peace.
Robert.

Walking on the beach at Wells the morning of your beautiful memorial service I was reminded of the apparent simplicity and purity of your view of life as I understood it back when Lilly and Bonnie were small. You helped me with my struggles with life and introduced me to mindfulness before it was a thing, and to walking meditation. I wish now I had been less busy and less inclined to rush past life because although you tried to show me, it is only now I am starting to really see the impermanence of it, and the importance of being in every moment. Thank you Gale.
