I will miss bumping into Gale whilst walking in the grounds of Keswick Hall and just chatting. In recent years the conversation usually centred around how Lilly was doing at Medical School. What exams has she recently passed? (Usually with flying colours!) Sadly, my final conversation with Gale was when she told me very excitedly that Lilly was starting the next week as a doctor at the N & N Hospital. She asked me to guess which department Lilly was starting in. I said I could not so she went on to tell me, again very excitedly, that she was starting in  Geriatrics! She knew that my son is a Geriatrician at Torbay Hospital in Devon. Gale was so proud of Lilly! My heart goes out to Liu and Lilly at this desperately sad time.
